Republican senators are accusing the Biden-era Department of Justice of concealing explosive records tied to possible prostitution-related crimes involving Hunter Biden — documents they say reveal a glaring double standard in the American justice system.
According to newly released records obtained by Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley and Senator Ron Johnson, federal investigators allegedly possessed evidence as early as 2020 suggesting possible violations of the federal Mann Act, which prohibits transporting individuals across state lines for prostitution or illegal sexual activity.
The senators say they requested the records from the DOJ years ago but were stonewalled under the Biden administration. Now, after finally obtaining the documents, they argue the records validate concerns they first raised in their 2020 Biden family investigation.
Among the most explosive revelations are text messages and financial records allegedly showing Hunter Biden purchasing flights for women connected to what investigators described as possible Eastern European prostitution or trafficking networks.
One alleged 2018 exchange reportedly showed Hunter Biden arranging travel for an unidentified woman from Los Angeles to another destination, raising questions about whether federal laws governing interstate transportation for prostitution were violated.
Grassley announced the release Monday, stating the records “support concerns we raised in our Sept. 2020 Biden family report” and demonstrate a “double standard of justice.”
The federal Mann Act — originally passed in 1910 — makes it a crime to knowingly transport individuals across state lines or international borders for prostitution or unlawful sexual activity.
Critics say the deeper issue is not simply Hunter Biden’s conduct, but whether federal authorities intentionally suppressed politically damaging evidence involving the son of a sitting president.
The allegations also reignite scrutiny surrounding Hunter Biden’s foreign financial dealings involving Ukraine, Russia, and Eastern European nationals — topics that were heavily censored or dismissed by much of the corporate media during the 2020 election cycle.
Investigative journalist Jerry Dunleavy IV noted that former President Joe Biden’s pardon of Hunter Biden would likely shield him from future federal prosecution tied to these allegations.
For many Americans, the controversy is becoming less about Hunter Biden himself and more about whether politically connected elites operate under a completely different legal standard than ordinary citizens.
